If you purchase one cage accessory, make it our cage liners. They will simplify your cage cleaning and keep your bird fresh and happy. Sixty-pound stock paper (same material paper bags are made out of, light brown in color) the color makes inspecting bird droppings much easier than white paper.
Environmentally friendly - at BirdCageLiners, we provide paper liners that are 100% biodegradable. Our liners break down (decompose) in two to four weeks. Plastic coated liners are not biodegradable and it takes centuries to break down into the soil. Our paper does not contain wax a known toxin to birds. Our paper does not have a Shiny side because we do not use wax, plastic or any type of coating.
There are many articles written about the preferred birdcage liner, they all state plain paper. Your bird(s) have an extremely delicate respiratory system; do not expose them to the toxins omitted by wax. Paper naturally absorbs moisture quickly!
